LIBRA II | What goes around, comes around

Wherever we find the middle decan of Libra we are asked to make wise choices because they will have lasting consequences, possibly far beyond our lifetime as Saturn comes with karma. Libra, although a cardinal sign, carries a strong duality, not only because of its social nature, but also because of the two scales.
And Libra comes about from the Claws of Scorpio; and it also has the power of a bicorporeal sign because of the balance-pans of the scales. —Rhetorius
The mirrored figures on top of a seesaw-like structure show Libra's capacity to give & take in equal measures - what you do, so do I; what goes around, comes around (Fig. 1).
In the tarot Libra II aligns with the 3 of Swords. Swords represent words and words under Venus' and Saturn's terms become social contracts, a wedding, a diplomatic agreement or state law. The word is bonding here, to ourselves and to others (Fig. 2).
Depending on the planetary influence the saturnian stability on the airy scales can (among other things) be a place of powerful commitment creating unshakable foundations and upheld contracts, or, if promises and contracts are broken, heartache for the betrayed and grave judgement for the betrayer.
